The upcoming World Automation Congress (WAC) 2024 is dedicated to three professors of European universities, of whom Yannis A. Phillis is professor emeritus of the School of Production Engineering and Management and former rector at the Technical University of Crete. WAC will be held in Mexico in September 22 to 26, 2024, and its theme is "Applied Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Vehicles in the 21st Century."
