Specialty: Control Systems with Emphasis in Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Saving.

Brief CV: Born in 1982 in Thessaloniki, where he received his Chemical Engineering Diploma and PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering/AUTH in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He also holds an Msc Diploma from the Department of Mathematics/AUTH (2013). In the past, he has worked as a Collaborating Researcher at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas/CERTH (2006-2013, 2016-2019), Department of Chemical Engineering/AUTH (2014-2016) and Texas A&M University at Qatar, Chemical Engineering Department (Sep.-Nov. 2014). Moreover, he was an Adjunct Faculty (407/80) at the University of Western Macedonia (Feb. - Jun. 2019). In the course of his career (2005-), he has published several articles in prestigious journals and has participated in numerous International and National Scientific Conferences, covering the areas of Process Modeling and Control for Energy, Environmental and Industrial Systems. In addition, he is actively participating in European and National Research Projects and as an evaluator of research proposals.

Education: Chemical Engineering Diploma, (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), 2005), Phd in Chemical Engineering (AUTH, 2011), Msc Diploma, Department of Mathematics (AUTH, 2013).

Research Interests: Control systems (conventional and advanced) in energy, environmental and industrial systems, process modeling & simulation, development and evaluation of novel systems that exploit RES, production of alternative fuels and energy through eco-friendly processes, techno-economic studies.
