Honorary Doctors

On 14 December 2012, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished scientist Dr. Jaime Gil‐Aluja for his significant contribution to the Decision Sciences.

On 12 September 2012, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor Asad Madni for his significant contribution to the methods of Systems Design and Signal Processing.

On 29 May 2009, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor Dimitris Bertsekas of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institute of Technology Massachusetts, for his significant contribution to the theory, teaching, and application methods of Optimization, Operational Research

On 10 November 2008, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor of the Poznan University of Technology Roman Słowiński for his significant contribution to the theory of Decision Support Systems, the theory of Rough Set Approximation.

On 01 September 2008, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor of the University of California, Berkeley, Pravin Varaiya for his significant contribution to the theory, applications and teaching of Automatic Control and Production, Communication and Transportation Networks.

On 15 December 2004, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor of the University of New Mexico, Mohammad Jamshidi, for his significant contribution to the establishment of the Automatic Control theory.

On 10 June 2002, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor Bernard Roy, for his significant contribution to the establishment of the Decision Support theory and Multi-criteria Analysis.

On 03 May 1996, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor Sir David Cox, for his significant contribution to the establishment of Statistics theory.

On 05 May 1993, a formal ceremony was held to confer the title of Honorary Doctor of PEM School to the internationally distinguished professor Rudolf Kalman, for his significant contribution to the establishment of Control theory.
