Studies

The academic year starts on the 1st of September each year and ends on 31st of August of the following year. The study program of each academic year has two semesters. The courses at the School durate one semester. School undergraduate studies last ten semesters, combined coursework and preparation of a dissertation. The tenth semester, free of courses, is set for the preparation of students thesis.

Postgraduate studies are approved by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. The postgraduate studies lead to the award of a MSc and a PhD.

Currently five MSc programs are offered by the School, including four programs in Greek and an international program on Technology & Innovation Management.

The PhD program enables students to engage in advanced study and research in a variety of areas related to the aims of the school and the expertise of its faculty members. The PhD program accepts applications from students in Greece and abroad.

In addition, the school offers positions to postdoctoral researchers from Greece and abroad. Postdoctoral program enables young, highly qualified scientists to conduct postdoctoral projects, further advancing research and collaborations in the School. The General Assembly approves postdoctoral researchers positions, depending on the needs and possibilities of the School.
