It is our pleasure to announce you the Call for Papers for the International web-based Conference ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN TURBULENT TIMES, which will be held on 29-30 August 2016, in Chania, Crete, Greece. The Conference is organized by the Technical University of Crete, the University of Crete, the University of Macedonia and the ERGANI Center. We invite any academic researcher, educator and practitioner seeking to promote knowledge, stimulate dialogue and set trends, in the field of entrepreneurship, education and management in entrepreneurship and gender issues in entrepreneurship to submit extended abstracts or full papers.
Authors can have a web-based presentation from distance through the conference web-platform. Sub-themes: Entrepreneurship innovation, the role of government in entrepreneurship growth, the role of education in entrepreneurship growth, Crowdfunding, Venture capitals and the role in entrepreneurship, Angel-investors, Social Entrepreneurship, Gender and Entrepreneurship, Mentoring, Organizational Culture.
The conference will take place at Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chania, Greece (Address: Eleftheriou Venizelou 4, 73104 Chania, Crete). English is the official conference language and all articles have to be written in formal English. The conference is fully financed under the research project with title Sinking inequality: Business startup motivation and business growth in female entrepreneurship (Project No. 3864) of the Programme “Diversity, inequalities and social inclusion (Programme area “Research within Priority Sectors”), which is co-financed by European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009 -2014 and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT). Consequently, the conference has no registration fees.
Certificate of presentation will be issued to participants presenting their research at the conference. Paper submission and review procedure: Papers should be submitted via EasyChair at ForEMOst2016 and will be blind reviewed. Format should be 12pt Times New Roman and no more than 15 pages while references should follow Harvard style. A word template (.doc) can be found here. Deadline for submissions: Friday 5th August, 2016 Conference proceedings: Authors will be provided by a hard copy of the Book of Abstracts and the Conference Proceedings in the form of USB and both will have ISBN. In additional all papers and/or abstract, as per choice of the conference attendees, will be published in the open accessed conference electronical proceedings (with ISBN) via the For.EMO.St project website http://foremost.tuc.gr.
