Brief CV: Professor, Director of CAD Lab. Professor Bilalis joined the Technical University of Crete in 1992 as an Associate professor and then as Professor. He worked for 2 years in the R&D department of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry responsible for CAD/CAM/CAPP developments and for 3 years as a director of Athens Innovation Centre, responsible for technical guidance of SME’s in CAD/CAM training and implementation. He has acted as an evaluator for the General Secretary for Research and Development, in various research and investments committees and also for the European Union, for IST, INNOVATION, FP5, FP6, FP7 and HOR2020 research proposals. He has participated in more than 50 funded research projects either as a Prime Contractor or as a partner or Research group leader. He has published more than 120 papers in Scientific Journals and in International Refereed Conferences. Professor Bilalis lectures in the postgraduate courses offered by the International Hellenic University, M.Sc. in International Product Development and in the University of Piraeus, M.Sc. Project Management & Product Development.
