Specialty: Computational Methods of Operational Research.

Brief CV: Michalis Doumpos holds a PhD in operations research (2000) from the Technical University of Crete, where he currently holds a full Professor position. He was director of the postgraduate program of the School of Production Engineering and Management during 2013-2015 and deputy Dean of the School (2016-2017). His research interests include multiple criteria decision making, decision support systems, machine learning, financial risk management, and energy economics. He has published over 80 research articles in premier international journals as well as several books, edited volumes, book chapters, conference papers, and edited special issues. He has extensive consulting experience in banking and financial services.

Education: BSc (1995), MSc (1997) and PhD (2002), school of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete, Greece.

Research Interests: Multi-criteria Decision aid, Operational Research, Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Decision Support Systems, Financial Risk Management.

Division: Decision Sciences.

Laboratory: Financial Engineering Laboratory.

Teaching: Operations Research, Linear Programming, Financial Calculus, Multi-Criteria Decision systems.
