Specialty: Computer and Informatics Engineer.

Brief CV: Nikolaos Spanoudakis holds, since 2007, a laboratory teaching assistant position at the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete. He has worked as information systems developer, technical manager, project manager and Information Technology and Services consultant, in the Public (Linkoping University, University of Cyprus, etc) and the Private (Singular Logic SA, TREDIT SA, Advanced Informatics Ltd, etc) sector. He has been elected to the IEEE senior member grade. He has (co)authored one book, more than six papers in international journals, and has a significant number of citations (> 400 in google scholar). He has been a reviewer for four international journals, and a program committee member for conferences and workshops. He has participated in more than 10 research projects with the roles of analyst-programmer, software engineer, technical and project manager. Finally, he has participated as a team leader in the Robocup 2012 international competition.

Education: Diploma (1997) in Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, Greece. MSc (2001) in Organization and Management,Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece. PhD (2009) in Computer Science, Paris Descartes University, Paris, France.

Research Interests: Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence of the broader Computer Science discipline. Agent Technology, Agent Oriented Software Engineering (AOSE), Model-Driven Engineering (MDE), behavior specification for robotic teams, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), the Semantic Web, and, Artificial Intelligence Applications in the fields of Ambient Intelligence (AmI), Finance, e-commerce, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and personalized Infomobility services using technologies from the areas of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), Argumentation, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Hybrid Intelligent Systems, etc.

Teaching: Computer Programming Methodology, Introduction to Computer Programming, Scientific Computing, Linear Algebra, and, Numerical Analysis.
