Specialty: Decision Analysis and Modelling.

Brief CV: Eleftherios Siskos, born in 1988 at Chania, studied Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where he obtained his Integrated Master Diploma in 2011. In 2018, he acquired his PhD at the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA. In the period 2019-2023, he worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute, in Switzerland. In 2023, he began his duties as an Assistant Professor at the School of Production Engineering and Management at the Technical University of Crete.

Throughout his academic career, he has worked in several European, Greek and Swiss projects, orientating in both basic and applied research, in the field of operational research, multicriteria decision analysis and energy policy and planning. He has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and collective books and has presented his research work in more than 30 international and Greek conferences. For his work, he was awarded in 2023 with the prestigious Bernard Roy award of the European Working Group on MCDA. He speaks fluently Greek, English, German and French.

Research Interests: Optimization and decision problems, modelling and control of risks and uncertainty, multicriteria decision analysis, energy and urban planning, environmental management, energy and climate policy, sustainable development, e-government.

Teaching: Methodology of Operations Research, Decision Support Systems.
