The Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory (DSSL) of the School of Production Engineering & Management is a partner of the Local4Global project. The main objective of Local4Global is to develop, apply and evaluate a generic methodology/system for globally optimising technical Systems of Systems (SoS) via local control actions.

DSSL is involved in the development of the methodology for road traffic control and optimisation of vehicles’ speed in real time, as well as in the evaluation of the final system via the application of a corresponding “Smart Mobility Tool” in part of the urban road network of Munich, Germany.
