The 6_th International Conference on Numerical Analysis "NumAn2014 - Recent Approaches to Numerical Analysis: Theory, Methods and Applications" will take place at the old venetian harbour of Chania on the island of Crete, Greece, on September 2-5, 2014. The conference, that is held every two years with the participation of many prominent scientists, is organized by the Applied Mathematics and Computers Laboratory of the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete. It is dedicated to the memory of  Theodore S. Papatheodorou, emeritus professor of the University of Patras.

Invited speakers include professors Athanassios Fokas and Arieh Iserles from Cambridge University, professor Zhong-Zhi Bai from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor Elias Houstis from the University of Thessaly and Purdue, professor Michael Vrahatis from the University of Patras and professor Dimitrios Noutsos from the University of Ioannina. 130 works, from 30 countries will be presented at NumAn 2014.
