Christina Diakaki has been an Associate Professor at the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete, Greece, since January 2026. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Greece and Cyprus, and she has participated and continues to participate in many research projects funded by the European Commission and other national and international public and private bodies. She has been Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Intelligent Transport Systems of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET-ITS), UK, since 2019, and she acts as a reviewer for numerous other scientific journals and conferences. She is the author or co-author of a significant number of research reports, chapters in collective volumes, and articles in scientific and technical journals and scientific conferences.

MSc in Operations Management, Victoria University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), United Kingdom (2003). PhD from the Decision Support and Operational Research Division of the Department of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete, Greece (2000).
