Mechanical Engineer
Evangelos Nikolidakis is a Mechanical Engineer (NTUA, 2016) with a PhD in Production Engineering and Management (TUC, 2021). He serves as Academic Special Laboratory and Teaching Staff (EDIP) at the School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He also directs the Micromachining and Manufacturing Modeling Laboratory, supporting both education and research. His research focuses on advanced manufacturing processes, laser–material interactions, CAD/CAM/CAE and computational modeling, with results published in leading journals, international conferences, and book chapters. In addition to his academic activities, he has extensive professional experience in construction engineering, having served as Construction Quality Control Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer and Health & Safety Μanager for large scale construction projects. His roles as Manufacturing and Production Manager in industrial R&D projects, combined with long-standing professional practice as a self-employed Mechanical Engineer, reinforce his ability to combine scientific innovation with practical engineering solutions.
