Brief CV: Nektarios M. Chairetis is working as Research & Development Supervisor at the Machine Tools laboratory, supporting its educational and research activities since 2003. His research areas cover the subjects of production technologies, material engineering and recently climate change.

Education: Mechanical Engineering Diploma (1991), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Mechanical Engineering. M.Sc. (2007) and Ph.D. (2017), School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete, Greece.

Research Interests: Production Technologies, Materials Roughness, Analysis, Simulation and Optimization of Special Materials and Components Processing, Materials Engineering and Optimization, Sustainable Development, Security & Climate Change Interaction.
